Pet Food (Feed) Additive Catalog Supplementary Revision" Industry Seminar

Representatives of Favorpaw attended the "Supplementary Revision of Pet Food (Feed) Additives Catalog" industry seminar held online by the Pet Industry Branch of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Animals and Animals. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Secretary-General Hu Jiandang, Chairman Lin Degui and Secretary-General Chen Ying made important speeches and guidance.

With the deepening of the concept of scientific pet raising and the younger generation becoming the main force of pet raising, nutritionally balanced, natural and healthy pet food and pet snacks with rich varieties and good palatability have become new consumption trends. At present, more than 90% of pet owners tend to buy personalized staple food; meanwhile, double-packed food and mixed food with rich taste have become consumption hotspots in the past two years, and their consumption growth rate far exceeds the overall staple food.

Feed additives refer to small or trace substances added during feed processing, production and use, including nutritional feed additives and general feed additives. It can meet the nutritional needs of pets in different life stages or under specific physiological and pathological conditions; at the same time, it can meet the nutritional needs of pets for amino acids, vitamins, mineral trace elements, enzyme preparations, etc.
